Born Caba Razalla of South American and British heritage, he was born into a life of music and has inevitably followed in his parent’s footsteps.

The Cabarza project was born from his first trip to Ibiza, like many people it influenced his direction in music after listening to the music of Luciano, Loco Dice and life changing trips to DC10 and Ibiza Underground. He quickly turned from being an engineer to producer and has spent the last twelve months striving to find a sound he can call his own.

Brought up on Latin music Cabarza keeps his music very organic and likes to take people on a journey through his DJ sets whilst keeping it underground but still musical.

“I went to see many DJs during and after Ibiza, some were amazing and some not so amazing, I see people rocking to the drop but standing still talking in the breaks. I want to make people be able to dance to my music all the way through by creating tension through music with passion, not just loops.”

When talking about his influences he says “I love Luciano, Loco Dice, Nic Fanciulli, Carl Cox and Kerri Chandler but do not want to follow anyone’s styles, I want people to hear a record and say “That Sounds Like Cabarza” not “That Cabarza track sounds like…” even though I am obviously influenced by my peers in house music.”

Currently working on his first album, he is hoping to get you excited with a little taster of what is to come.
