Elrow Music’s head honcho – De La Swing – may be known for destroying the workds larger-than-life dance floors, but here his debut at Circus Recordings is an altogether much more considered two track EP. ‘Roots & Culture’ is a meticulous and interesting work by the Spanish producer, although with a clear reference to the moment we’re living in dance music, Domi uses much more considered elements in this composition .
The EP is composed by the original mix, ‘Roots & Culture’, and a special dub mix. Both are perfect for any moment on the floor, with a downtempo, melodic and deep feel to them, with a great soft percussion set and a great structure. Keeping the techy vibe and going deeper into the sound exploration, this is a track made for special moments, specially thanks to those droney-like melodic moments. The dub mix takes away the vocals to create an special affair, strictly for dancing.
